ARTIST’S VISION
I have a passion for re-creating life and mathematically pleasing shapes out of steel. I love the look of bare steel, and find that through texturing and layering metals, I create a unique viewer perception of my subject.
A largely monochromatic steel sculpture is much like a beautiful black and white photograph- elimination of color enhances what remains. While both natural and abstract themes are explored, all sculptures share this textured monochromatic style.
