PHASES OF A WOMAN'S LIFE
Material: Alabaster
Size: 25"H X 13"W X 10"D
We are what other people have put into us and the choices we make with what life hands us. As a woman, I do not stand alone for other women have invested in and strengthened me to be who I am today.
To create this, I have carved the hair of each woman connected one to another, showing the healthy interdependence and support which was meant to be. The deep relief in the back represents other relationships which play an important part in our lives.
