One of my favorite quotes is from E.B. White. "If the world were merely seductive, that would be easy. If it were merely challenging, that would be no problem. But I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world, and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day." This is one of the many paradoxes human beings face. Hope and Despair, Love and Fear these are the real dilemmas we all face everyday.

These figures were originally created in clay. After they are bisque fired molds are taken. These figures were cast at New American Bronze Casting in Osceola, WI. From my studio it is a gorgeous ride up the St. Croix River valley to the foundry.
