Horse Racing conjures up a whole list of visual possibilities, everything from the pre-race commotion to the winner's circle triumph. Nothing however, evokes quite as much excitement as the actual race itself. The thoroughbreds and jockies streaking past the crowds in the stands in a blur of motion, pounding the turf with thunderous hooves. This piece depicts an instant of that scenario - over so quickly that only a portion of the moment is necessary to capture the rapture of the race.
