In 1989 I was a widower when my future wife came to my home to walk my dog, Otis. Otis could tell instantly that she was an animal lover and greeted her with a grand High 5. It was right then and there that she fell in love with him. It took a little longer for her to fall in love with me. We captured the moment on film, and that picture was to become my inspiration for BEST FRIEND. Otis was truly a loving mutt and gave us joy for about 17 years.
