Material: Kasota Limestone
Size: 12"h on a 4" Black Marble Base
Bountiful started its life as a long thin piece of Kasota limestone. I was using it for practice, but as I chipped and filed, a female form began to emerge. I liked it, so I kept working. I really liked the uneven texture of the stone and particularly the stone's broken top and bottom. These gave it an ancient, perhaps Etruscan feel. I called her "Bountiful" for obvious reasons.
